Use those products that are oil-free and hypo-allergenic.The foundation or blusher should be water-based so that the pores won’t get clogged. Always remember that dry sensitive skin shouldn’t be applied with any kind of oil-absorbing foundations as they dry the skin by eliminating the excess of sebum.
The skin dermis that’s specific to dry sensitive skin shouldn’t be treated with exfoliants or astringent products. The same should be said to cleaning: washing quite frequently will increase the dryness of the skin as it will eliminate the natural skin oils that lubricate the tissues. Furthermore, your moisturizer for the day should have an incorporated SPF (sun-protection factor) of 15. Then, dry sensitive skin will not give you the outdoor pleasures like sunbathing.
In man skin care, make it a point that you don’t put a dry sensitive skin under the sun’s exposure for purposes of tanning as it will result to premature aging and serious health problems. And last but not least, one must be careful when changing from one cosmetic product to another. When you have decided in trying a different skincare brand, it’s quite important to test the product on small portion of the skin to check whether or not you have any allergic reactions to it.
