We’ve all tried different skin care products, both expensive and cheap ones. Many have found that they cannot afford to continue using the ultra-expensive products that you find in the shopping malls or through television infomercials. These can cost several hundred dollars a month if you need to use more than one product. Nearly all of us have found that the cheap skin care products just don’t work. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to skin care products. But you might get a lot more than you pay for, too.
One of the reasons that cheap skin care products don’t work is because they contain very little of the active ingredients required for them to be effective. The rest is just fillers to make the tubes and bottles look full. Unfortunately, many of these fillers, and even some of the active ingredients, are harmful chemicals. Have you ever noticed the warning on some cheap skin products that tells you that it could be harmful if ingested?
Cheap skin products that can be harmful if ingested can also be harmful if rubbed on the outside of your body. The reason for this is because some of these harmful chemicals will actually work their way into your skin all the way to your bloodstream. They end up in the same places that they would had you ingested them, it just takes longer for them to get there. Why would you want to take that chance?
So take care when purchasing cheap products. We all want to keep our skin looking youthful and wrinkle free so a good cream, good diet and plenty of water are key to looking after ourselves.
One of the best anti aging skin care treatment is to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Clean, filtered water is best, not the stuff you pour from the tap which can, in fact, be detrimental to your health. So keep your skin hydrated and looking its best.
